IT'S TIME FOR "THE EVENING OF LITTLE BLACK DRESS CONTEST"

Celebrating the birthday of Coco Chanel, the Grande Dame of fashion, Blackmail, the iconic Austin boutique has launched "The Little Black Dress Design Contest". On Friday evening, October 3rd, 2008 at 7pm, come to Blackmail, meet the designers, and see our very own version of Project Runway for the Little Black Dress Contest.

Over 20 contestants have been sewing for weeks in order to present their original creations for the contest. Join us along with our 4 celebrity judges: Stephen MacMillan Moser of the Austin Chronicle, Marques Harper of the Austin American Statesman, Rachel Elsberry of News 8 Austin and Ann Elizabeth Wynn: globe trotter & fashionista, as we unveil over 20 original interpretations of the quintessential piece of clothing made famous by Coco Chanel. Sip refreshments, meet the designers and view the creations as we announce the winners of the design contest.
